Region XI State Information

State Information

The state representatives coordinate local meetings throughout the year for the Region XI membership to discuss matters of importance to the region regarding international education. They contact institutions in their state and indicate willingness to serve as an information source on aspects of international education. They keep up-to-date on activities and opportunities offered through NAFSA and know who to contact for further information about them. They also serve is yet another source of immigration information.

State Representatives gather information for the membership directory and forward that information to the NAFSA Membership Chair. They also identify special needs of the state for workshop topics and session topics for the regional conference.
